Welcome to my creative playground. I work in mixed media, employing acrylics, watercolours, gouache, as well as incorporating pencils, pastels, spray paint and more. Painting the world around me and my response to it Art has taken me on many an adventure. Including but not limited to the world of YouTube, Artbattle 20min paintings and Upfest street art festival. Lots of fun and I have met awesome creatives and art lovers along the way.
I cherish connecting with like-minded authentic humans to share this creative journey with and to express myself not just through painting, but in all aspects of life.
“The fact that I myself, at the moment of painting, do not understand my own pictures, does not mean that these pictures have no meaning; on the contrary, their meaning is so profound, complex, coherent, and involuntary that it escapes the most simple analysis of logical intuition.”
“In my case all painting… is an accident. I foresee it and yet I hardly ever carry it out as I foresee it. It transforms itself by the actual paint. I don’t in fact know very often what the paint will do, and it does many things which are very much better than I could make it do.”

Written by Elio Garofalo who is curator and put the members show together:
"January in Colour" is an exhibition that brings together the vibrant energy of the Circular ArtSpace members' artistic talent, transforming the grey of winter into a celebration of colour. The exhibition opens with "Confliction" by Gino Parisi, exploring the theme of turmoil and harmony. Parisi’s work reflects the internal struggle and the delicate balance between opposing forces, inviting viewers to reflect on how personal conflicts can coexist with external harmony.
Next is "Pacman Ghost Swims with the Fishes" by Chris Shopland, a playful yet poignant exploration of connections. Through the unexpected pairing of digital and organic imagery, Shopland blurs boundaries and encourages us to consider the surprising ways in which we connect with the world around us. - note from me Chris Shopland - ironically I have misplaced this painting and will be listed don the website again once found lol
The exhibition closes with "Flow" by Johanna Challagan, embodying the theme of emotion exploration and emotional energy. Challagan’s abstract piece evokes a sense of movement and fluidity, inviting the viewer to engage with the raw, transformative power of colour and emotion.
Also featuring works by Miles Baker, Rachel Clarke, TG Freeson, Christina Godley, Louis Christian Hess, and Maria Vellanz, this collective of artists brings a diverse range of styles and interpretations to the theme of colour in January. -
