This large painting is me celebrating the sound of the ocean which I often find I sleep better when by the sea. It was a canvas acquired from an artist who could no longer use the canvas, the background was already started and I wasn’t sure if it was acrylic or oil, so went straight in with oils. Long before having the dog, im sure he would have been covered! It was far too large to put on an easel so it was drying for weeks propped up against my desk.
