aquatic transformation falling into the unknown original Acrylic on 20.9 x 29.5cm cradled wooden panel by artist Chris Shopland
Water has always felt a symbol of renewal, Cnristians baptise their followers, we drink water to replenish , we quench our thirst, we are 70% water, earths surface is 71% , there are many explorative lands we don’t know within the ocean, and maybe the ocean of ourselves is deeper still.
I love how the wood grain has really shown up with the washes of vivid blue acrylic.
20.9 x 29.5cm x 2cm
Sizes are approx and width x height x depth (depth edge of canvas) .
Because of colour variances in monitors, colours may not be exactly as they look on your screen. But I do my best to represent the colours I use in my photographs.
