At night, expectations are lower—though some work night shifts, most are winding down. I like to use this time for admin tasks, quietly listening to music as I go, or simply relaxing without guilt.
This painting came together with just a few brushstrokes, and I loved it…after much waiting I decided actually it’s finished. Sometimes, less is more. The eyes, the most detailed part, catch the light, drawing focus and reflection.
Looking closer, there’s more than what the eye and brain first perceive. That’s what I love about this artwork. Shine a torch on it, and it transforms—emerging from darkness, with shadows shifting into vivid blue under the light.
