"Upfest 2024"
This Giclée print of Upfest 2024 is one of my dreamiest and most intricate pieces. It’s based on my large 1.2 × 1.2-metre artwork created for Upfest presents in May 2024. Photographing and editing such a big piece was a challenge and unable to do so via niche like usual, they have however handled the printing, I captured it myself using a USPC frame mirrorless camera to ensure the details stayed true to the original. The original took six intense hours to paint, and this print brings its essence to a more accessible scale. Usually this would take me a week, but I pushed on through. So I am happy to bring this to you, the original should still be available for £600 minimum (bargain!) if contact upfest directly.
The image itself is a journey—the mask is unhinged open, the maze has been solved, and underneath lies the unhuman figure no one truly understands, surrounded by a pool of consciousness. "Let the thoughts float by like boats," I tell myself, even as the sea feels rough. There’s always more to discover in this piece, and finding calm within it is part of its story.
Printed on 300gsm Xpressions Photo Matte paper, this Giclée measures 12 × 12 inches, with a 10 × 10-inch print area. The high-quality print process ensures every detail and colour nuance is preserved.
